Keonenui Bay is a unique inlet on the northwest shore of Maui, Hawaii.  Not unique to this bay is the dramatic erosion of the bay’s shoreline.  Rising ocean levels, hard sea walls which bounce waves, and coral demise from agricultural contamination have resulted in encroaching surf that scours sand from the beach and threatens shoreline structures.

Keonenui Bay Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3).  Our mission is to implement an efficient, economical and ecologically friendly way to slow down erosion by restoring coral reefs.
